FutureSkills Prime in European Commission’s report

Filled with pride and gratitude to have been a part of the journey with FutureSkills Prime as one of the industry contributors, an initiative that has just been recognized as a global best practice in the European Commission’s Pact for Skills report. This recognition is a testament to India’s impactful work (nasscom, Industry and others) in upskilling and reskilling mapping with job roles.

As one of the contributors from the Industry supporting to make India a digital nation through working on various fronts, it’s truly rewarding to see our collective efforts bear fruit.

Key highlights that underscore our collective achievement include:
1. Ranking 3rd out of 47 initiatives globally, surpassing the Skills Future of Singapore.
2. Achieving top 5 status for contributions to individuals and the economy, with the Talent Connect portal earning a perfect score for linking skilled candidates to job opportunities.
3. Securing the No. 1 position in Total Average Key Performance Drivers, showcasing our excellence in enabling outstanding performance.

I am working for 1.4 Billion people of the country as part of AI skill Advisory Council for India. At present supporting National Framework Programee Policy drafting. As an Advisor, key focus areas are to promote AI education and awareness, defining AI skill frameworks, and fostering industry-academia collaboration.

Instrumental in developing Gen-AI standards, including National Occupational Standards (NOSs), micro-credentials, and qualifications and curriculum, tailored for AI for all, many, and few, spanning from students, professionals to homemakers. Currently, contributing to an AICTE initiative, developing specialized post-10th diploma courses to enhance youth employability in the country.
